A traditional Kyushu regional performing arts highlight in Niigata!
Conveying the legend of Goddess Amaterasu now through Kagura.

An overnight village festival introduced in Takachiho Town in the northern part of Miyazaki Prefecture which was dedicated to Kagura praying for autumn fruits and next year's abundance in harvest. Sun Goddess Amaterasu hid herself in Amano-Iwato cave. When the world went into total darkness Ameno Uzume went fun dancing to regain back the light as it was supposed to be at the beginning. From within Yokagura No. 33, enjoy "Dance of Tajikarao" to find Sun Goddess Amaterasu. Luring out the Goddess from the Amano-Iwato cave "Dance of Uzume ", brave "Dance of Totori" and "Dance of Goshintai "of nation-building by two gods!
